About WiderViewPhoto PR

WiderViewPhoto PR is the photography company setup by Chris Roberts in 2002  to specialise in Event Photography, Commercial Photography and initially Sports photography, particularly UK motor racing. He comes with extensive experience in the corporate, public sector and not for profit sectors, and has undertaken commissions around the UK and Europe, for both corporate and personal clients.
He now works with local (Warwickshire / North Cotswolds) and wider Midlands and national events clients, as well as commercial photography clients.

In 2015 he covered a wide range of commissions including ITSM15 Conference (Sofitel Heathrow) a IT Service Management Conference, The Richard Harvey Collection for its furniture ranges, itSMF UK meeting at University of Northampton: People & Skills, Shipston Proms (a 2+ week music festival), Lifting Technology Office shoot, Stratford River Festival, Coach & Bus Live: NEC, Kenilworth & Moreton-in-Marsh Agricultural shows and Cotswolds Olimpicks (with its 400+ years of history).

He has had images exhibited in Uxbridge (Brunel University), Acton, High Wycombe, Bracknell, Stratford-upon-Avon, Shipston-on-Stour and Birmingham.

His style is very photo-journalistic capturing the story of your event, with both content and images, as it unfolds by working unobtrusively with speed, precision and professionalism. Most events are also reported on with blogs which are frequently also supplied to local and national media (along with his images).

He spent 10 years (2004 – 2014) working as a UK Motor racing media professional, working with clients for their social media, press releases and newspaper articles, which were supplied with my images. I was fully accredited in the UK for championships such as Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship and British F3/GT championships. I also worked in Europe on the FIA GT championships at Spa Francorchamps (Belgium) and Monza (Italy).

He loves what he does and he is, for imaging, an active member of several professional groups, both in the Midlands (Stratford Clicks, and Frame Creatives) and nationally (The Societies/SWPP).
