Of the new runners Hunter Abbott (Century Motorsport) was representative as he stated “Reasonably happy only 1/2 second off pole but that left me in 7th place”
Tom Sharp was a bit more sanguine “With the track damp at the start I took it easy but managed at the end to get a clean lap when I was not held up to snatch pole on my last lap”

Josh Wakefield was disappointed with only 4th place especially as he had showed early and was 8/10 second faster than anyone, but he has bumped down to 4th. As Josh said “A bit of what should have been and when at the end of a session I was on a hot lap that might have snatched pole i was held up at Cascades. It is a long weekend and i expect to be on the podium after the first race.
The first race of the season takes place at 14:20 and is over 16 laps. The weather is overcast but a small possibility of rain this afternoon.
